July 10Princess Alexandra has been fired.
It is not too good at working as Princess Benedikte and Prince Richard's elder daughter, Princess Alexandra and her German husband, Count Jefferson.
They are indeed both been hit by the financial crisis and have been unemployed. Alexandra recently lost her longtime job at the UN organization UNESCO, where the German princess worked with the world's cultural heritage.
While Count Jefferson has already been unemployed for some time. He was for many years director of the German bank Oppenheim Bank in Paris. But when it closed after bankruptcy, he also lost his job, writes Billedbladet in the new issue, which hits the streets tomorrow, Thursday.
According to the magazine, it has been a difficult time for the Danish/German prinsessepar. In particular, Jefferson had a hard time with being unemployed. He had expected that he would soon get going again. But it is not happened yet.
And when Alexandra also lost her job because the budget at UNESCO was sharply curtailed, the couple decided that now they have to start something new.
They therefore decided to move away from the large apartment in Paris, where they have lived for several years with their two children, Count Richard, 13 years and Countess Ingrid, 9 years.
Instead, they move back to Germany, where they both come from. Here, Princess Alexandra's father, Prince Richard, bought a house for his daughter and her family.
- I bought a house for Alexandra and her family in a small wine town near Mainz, says Prince Richard of Billed Bladet.
The house is situated on a 11,000 sq m plot, and according to Prince Richard. Also Princess Benedikte is looking forward to the move, she can namely within two hours drive visit her daughter and the two oldest grandchildren.
