Her Majesty Queen Mathilde is wearing one of our headpieces for the state visit of Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. The “Colette” is a light pink headpiece made of banana fibers. We are honored that Her Majesty chose Maison Fabienne Delvigne.

Queen Mathilde wears a new outfit for the occasion, and she visited Armani Privé, the couture line of Armani

She also wears a light blue pillbox (I suspect a new one), silver-gray pumps, and gray gloves.

Her silver-gray clutch is by Giorgio Armani

Queen Mathilde wore black, accessorized with diamond and pearl jewels.
These earrings are similar to another pair that Mathilde often wears: the pearl drop earrings that belonged to the late Queen Fabiola. One way to tell them apart is to look at the diamond pendant section. Fabiola’s pair features a quartet of diamond baguettes set in a cross shape, while Mathilde’s pair features an open circle design placed just above each pearl drop

Queen Mathilde is wearing a new copper-colored ensemble today. It is a design by Natan: the silhouette below shows the same pants as Mathilde, and a variation of the top without the standing collar

She is wearing a clutch by Fabienne Delvigne in a similar colour. Her gold coloured earrings are by Sézane

Her attire is always pretty much dignified and age-appropriate. Moving a bit toward ``Mumsy,'' but now that we have the exquisite Elizabeth to follow, I think that's pretty much OK. She seems contented and happy and apparently has a good and fulfilling marriage. The kids have turned out well. So who cares if she's not looking like she just stepped off the runway?

Her entire ensemble exudes the New Look for which Dior is so famous, just compare it with the silhouette below from the 50s

She's wearing the same accessories as this morning: pearl and diamond earrings and a burgundy Lady Dior handbag

Mathilde also combined this outfit with the beige felt Borsamalia hat by Fabienne Delvigne, and she did so again today

Queen Mathilde is wearing the pink dress with bow that she debuted on February 4 this year. This time she is wearing a pink blazer with it, made from the same fabric...
She wears her wedding earrings made of pearls and diamonds.
The new pink hat also seems to be covered in exactly the same fabric as the outfit. It comes entirely from the Dior Couture studio, as you can see in the photo below from the details of the buttons. The stitching in the round buttons is a typical signature of the French fashion house.
