Mathilde seems like a very sweet, kind, and lovely woman. I think she and Philippe are a great match and she seems to be a wonderful consort. Yes, they're both a bit bland but that's certainly not a bad thing for modern royals in my opinion.

February 27, 2019, Belgian Queen Mathilde handed out 2019 Womed Award with a ceremony held at BEL Conference Center. Womed Award is a female entrepreneur award. The Queen also handed out "Womed Award Zuid" which is awarded biyearly. This year, best female entrepreneur Zuid Award was given to Carmen Perdomo from El Salvador. Womed Award is an initiative supported by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship, a government agency, and is organized by Markant, a female network. The award aims to bring into prominence inspiring female entrepreneurs.

I remember that when Mathilde became queen and took on the patronage of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition, she actually had tutoring sessions with an expert in the history of classical music, which showed a level of dedication.
I also like the way she's used classical music concerts as a way of getting her children involved in public events and to expose them to high brow culture. Film premiers and pop concerts are fun, but sitting through a full symphony performnace while displaying polite interest with everyone looking at you is very good royal training!

More red for Mathilde, but the colour becomes her nicely!

I hate to see such things. Children shouldn't be moved around in a wheelchair. They should be running free in the woods.
Hopefully this institution is provided with a lot of money etc.
Sweet and nice move of Mathilde to engage herself in this.

Mathilde at the Klara Festival in a jumpsuit which can perhaps be generously described as 'busy'. Also, no one wanted to shift those tables out of the way before taking the photo?

It's Diane von Fuerstenberg. And it's not even the first, but the third time she's wearing it. But it's one of those outfits your brain makes you forget, because keeping it would really be waste of a precious brain cell. However, on the model, it's looking different. Edgy club wear (while on Mathilde, well, like pyjamas):
