Queen Mathilde was named Honorary Member of the two academies, The Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium (ARMB) and Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine (KAGB). On February 12, 2019, The Queen received the diplomas and medals of the two academies with a ceremony held at the Academy Palace. At the ceremony, The Queen gave a speech on mental health.

Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine (KAGB) advises the authorities and the citizens on matters relating to medical sciences. February 14, 2019, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the 50th edition of Brussels' Book Fair. At that special editon held for supporting cultural dialogue in Belgium, Flanders was selected as the honorary guest. During her visit to the fair, The Queen visited the Flemish Pavilion and there, she met with students from two different schools, who speak dutch and french. The Queen then visited The Palace of Imaginary (Palais des Imaginaires), which is an area dedicated completely to comic books and new technologies

The dress is NATAN (sometimes, he get's it quite right), and a repeat. She wore it at least once before (in January 2018 to some folks reception, don't recall what it was).

Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the opening session of the World Resources Forum which is held at Flanders Meeting & Convention Center in Antwerp on February 25-26, 2019. In her capacity as United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocate, The Queen also took part in a discussion with young people and students participating in the Recupel E-loop Challenge. WRF is an independent non-profit international organization which serves as a platform connecting and fostering knowledge exchange on resources management amongst business leaders, policy-makers, non governmental organizations, scientists and the public
