Most unexpected, it's not Natan. It's Dried van Noten. Both the coat and the clutch.

AND: 3 years old. She first wore them during their state visit to Japan 2016 - which might explain the Asian touch of the clutch, as a nod to their hosts.

Ja, remember the Outfit. I loved the vibrant colors and the very 50's idea of slim pencil shift dress with the wide  and matching! theatre coat. And I remember thinking, what a shame it was that the greys of dress and stripe did not match but indeed clashed.

June 12, 2019, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attended presentation ceremony of The King Baudouin Prize for Development, held at Royal Palace in Brussels. This year, The King Baudouin Foundation awards the African Development Prize to Wecyclers, a Lagos based waste management start-up. Wecyclers is a for-profit social enterprise that promotes environmental sustainability, socioeconomic development, and community health by providing convenient recycling services in densely populated urban neighborhoods. The prize highlights innovative initiatives that improve the quality of life by encouraging locals to take charge of their own development.

Mathilde on a visit to Limbourg.

Wouldn't that be 'Limburg', or is the French/English spelling mend (or perhaps something different )??

Yes, Limburg is the German spelling, Limbourg the French.

It's the same with Luxemburg and Luxembourg.

Thanks for the clarification Smiley

BTW Limburg is also the Dutch spelling (just as Luxemburg).

Please, can someone tell me how she manages not to drop her gold bracelet, which is obviously too loose for her wrist? I keep thinking " It's gonna fall this time." Also, are these gold bracelets whith gems popular among Benelux and German royals and nobility? I think both Q Sofía and Camilla own similar pieces.

I like the color too.  But I wish that the jacket was longer and the trousers were shorter.

I'd wish the trousers had a crease to give them some structure.

The way they are, the look like - for the lack of a better explanation - the lower end of a deflated balloon (the part you take in your mouth to blow it up).

Yeah, I know, time to retire to bed. My thoughts are really wandering far, far away ...
