Good King Phil needs to lay of the belgian chocolates, he looks a lot better with a little less volume around his face and neck. The side by side comparison of the two pictures in FC's post (pic. and av.) is telling. And an appointment with a hair stylist should be scheduled.
Is it weird that he reminds me of King Harald in these pictures? No I don’t think it’s weird. They both lean slightly when they stand.

No not weird, Harald's mother and Philippe's grandmother were sisters. One of my second cousins really reminds me of my father, I can't put my finger on it but there is something there...

cracking = very nice or very good. Exactly - it is famously used by Wallace (from Wallace and Gromit) to describe a particularly nice piece of cheese, and I use it a lot too!

Good Queen Til and the two smallest Wafflets watching today's round of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition Why are the Belgian royal children referred to as Wafflets? I think it is based on Belgian Waffles - sweet and delicious and Belgian. So the kids are wafflets.

Good Queen Til and the two smallest Wafflets watching today's round of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition I almost didn't recognize Emmanuel. He suddenly looks so grown up.

Speaking of evening gowns I remember seeing Matilde in one that was strapless but with fur trim and I want to say velvet and green or something like that and I nearly lost it she looked so good. I cannot remember where or when it was or the occasion sorry but it was stunning and while she is terrifically dressed stunning is rarely the word I'd use as much as I like her. The orange dress I assume was for William and Kate's pre wedding ball it is definitely nice and she suits that color a difficult one for sure.
