Good Queen Til spent today walking the Brussels 20km event. I spent today repainting my spare room. Til and me = busy bees and destined bffs.

They really are the cutest, most wholesome royal family!

They also keep busy so there are lots of engagements to talk about

YES!  And they are meaningful events, not vanity projects, chances just to dress fancy, 100 variations on the same theme, etc.

I always get a little flare of happiness when I see their topic on the unread posts thread!

And they are out and about again! Phil and Til are meeting with representatives of the Belgian Red Cross and armed forces in Liege to recognise their hard work during the recent devastating floods

Good King Phil paid a visit to rehabilitation organisation To Walk Again (TWA)

I like how Phil automatically and IMO quite paternally grabbed the hand that the boy had flung out not for support (he has that on his other side from trusted trainers) but for balance. It seemed a very unconscious yet fatherly thing for Phil. And I like him for it...

Exactly!  And his whole body is attuned to the boy; he's not subconsciously angling away like he feels awkward or worse is uncomfortable.

"BE Heroes" winners got to attend a royal audience with Good King Phil today. BE Heroes was launched earlier this year so that the good people of Belgium could nominate their coronavirus heroes and heroines

Tahon makes exaggerated, stretched and unsettling sculptures based on the human body and head, a bit like Giacometti - quite creepy and impressive when seen in person. Those aren't the best photos of his work (but I like Phil supporting Belgian art)
