Spotted on pinterest:

A nice photo of Sophie and Maud following Eugenie's wedding.

And Kate and Sophie bumping into each other at last year's Wimbledon finals

FC, I love your new Standom! And little Maud is adorable! Lolipop

Reasons I like Sophie Winklemann:

She's a really good actress: Poirot, Endeavour, Peep Show, Red Dwarf, Harry and Paul, etc. She can do comedy and drama, she's done theatre, she's done Hollywood. She's a proper jobbing actress. And she's stayed working even though she's married into the BRF.

She married into the branch of the royal family with one of the highest difficulty settings, but seems to get on with her inlaws, get on with the wider royal family, even gets on with her mother in law

She's basically turned Frederick from a drunken party animal into a decent husband and father who rarely has a peep of scandal around him anymore.

Two cute kids

She survived breaking her back in a horrific car accident

Excellent hats:

And she's gorgeous:

I've seen her on TV but I wouldn't  give her a name, so I don't know much about Sophie Windsor. She sems to be nice and discreet. The same for her husband and Ella. So, FC, I think this time you've made the right choice.  Beer   Sophie Rules OK

And she also got to play a Princess Royal in that trainwreck most people have forgotten by now, that was called "The Palace"... There are no words to describe it, really, a guilty pleasure, if only to laught at it.

Just in case, I'm not laughing at her, but at the writers and all, really, it was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. She was awesome, btw.

The whole thing was so wrong, that I just couldn't stop... I couldn't tell whether the writers were actually trying to be sarcastic or that was not their original aim. Anyway, funny thing to watch.

He is/was a train wreck in the past but she is beautiful and well dressed - hey - even a minor married in can show the rest how to do "appropiate" in terms of clothes, behaviour, appearances etc . . . . I guess her MIL would have wanted a titled daughter in law but I'd be surprised if they are complaining today . . .

Sophie and Fred seem very good for each other. On paper, when they married, it didn't sound like it would work, but they seem genuinely happy together and have two lovely kids. Fred has settled down and while Princess Michael might have wanted a more titled daughter in law, she would probably take having two granddaughters any day of the week.

And yes, fashion wise, Sophie hasn't put a foot wrong when she's done the high profile royal stuff. It's amazing how often the Gloucesters, Kents, Snowdons, etc, outperform the big royals on a fraction of the budgets.

Yup. It would be good to see him as godfather to the child who will born very soon. Frederick & wife, Prince & wife would be a natural match for those not in line for the throne. Probably find more things in common than with other family members.

A very sweet photo, especially when you think Sophie couldn't lift her girls for a year after her awful accident
