Josie was a shocker when she was younger, and definitely on the bratty side of the equation (the silly gaping face at the Ring Ride when she had her broken arm is a good example), but I don't see it as much now. She does seem to have grown up a bit. As for the photos of the eyebrow lift and yawning without covering her mouth...she's a kid and she's human. I find her behaviour from the hunt this year leaps and bounds better than how she's behaved in the past.
She’s old enough to not be rude. She is being deliberately bumptious and obnoxious. A mini-Mary. I'm still willing to cut her some slack. 3 or 4 questionable pics out of 50 is definitely an improvement on when she was younger. Maybe Mary said something inane that caused the eyebrow lift? I grew up in awe of my strict mum and yet still had moments where I couldn't help myself or forgot my manners.

The face she was pulling is a bit of a 'trend' on TikTok and some social media right now, and I get the feeling she was just copying that in an attempt to be funny or quirky. Something I'm sure everyone did when they were 11/12.

A nice Instagram post today, with all four children and their parents going on a tour of Rosenberg Castle to learn their own history. Such a good idea, I hope the tours will be available to more people as well. It’s good to know where you come from. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp2ssWnDTyG/

Personally I feel this is quite revealing about how uncultured F&M are. Christian is almost 18 and the future king. He hasn’t already been taught this? They live in castles and haven’t taught their children the rich history of their family and homes? Good grief..

This is what I've been waiting for from them for a long time. This is precisely what they need to ground them in their legacy. It could supplement requests from their caregivers to rise to dignity in their behavior and interactions with the world. I could have done without the ass shot of Christian but better him than the girls. Or their father lol. I remember visiting the dark room with all the jewelry it was quite impressive all laid out together.

I just wanted to post something similar, Maria. You'd think F&M would take a personal interest in sharing the Danish Royal history with their children from very early on.

Too bad a guide is shown pointing out things instead of Fred doing that and sharing a family story with a long pause instead of walking and throwing out pointed fingers like "oh look at that ok what's next".

Wasn’t that Vincent doing the quick point? I think the guide is the director of the museum, so he must know a lot of stories to share. I always get the impression Fred was raised by staff, passers by, and the snails in the garden rather than by his parents or family so he may not know many family stories to share.

I find that difficult to believe. It’s just a few years ago that Joachim participated in a tv series about the history of the DRF interconnected with the history of Denmark. I doubt he’s be brought up much differently than Fred.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't...
If the kids had been brought up with the knowledge of all the pomp and ceremony drilled into them, then they would be called hypocrites for it after saying that they wanted to give them as normal a life as possible. I think they've already been called hypocrites because of other things that have happened in the past.

Not really. Their “we’re raising our children normally” completely went out the window when they picked the poshest private school in Denmark.. And I seriously doubt anyone would think it odd or snobbish if they 1. already started preparing Christian for his future role or 2. taught the children about their rich family history as it’s something Marge is clearly very into, as well as Joachim. He was praised for the tv show and he’s not even popular.

Am I missing something? I don't actually see Mary. And why have they all got their coats on indoors?
