Quote from Future Crayon "This I didn't mind."

This dress appears a bit more updated & probably why you like it.
Fuller skirt (but not too full), pleasing print pattern.
Fitted but not too fitted bodice.
Kind of dress you might were to a birthday party at a casual dining restaurant.
It also looks like a dress that most could wear.
(And, the shoes go with the outfit.)

Unfortunately she wore it to a sports engagement with kids. And it was windy, too

Of course. She probably checks the weather and if it's windy she will wear a full skirt.

Oh and I Realllly hated this!

Oh! That was just such an incredible ugly dress. Why was she even allowed to attend in that hideous thing!?
I don't remember clearly but I believe that it was our friend Emilia Wickstead who was at work here. Again!

This was one of the WORST from last year.

...Has she ever worn this again?

She had to return it to wardrobe on the Mad Men set.
One of the secretaries needed it back for a retake. Whistle

This one accentuated the padded bra in use at the time.

There was a dress at my local thrift store that bore a frightening resemblance to that creation last year. It sat there for $2.50 for eons.

^^

Oh and I Realllly hated this! (Photo of dark brown/black Temperly dress.)

It looks like someone stole a very ugly pair of curtains, sewed it into a dress and put it on Waity.

Do you think Emilia Wickstead deliberately makes such poor dresses to make Waity look stupid?  I know it's a long shot but it is a possibility lol.

If she does, that would be awesome. Either way though, it still provides hours of entertainment for us, so...win!

Now, now. No one wants their designs to purposely look bad.
Reminder: that's a Temperly dress, not Wickstead.

This dress and the light blue overlay slip dress from the Asia tour are similar to the other lace dresses K likes so much.
They are a basic solid color slip dress with a sheer lace or other needlework carrier fabric over the base.

The flounce on the sleeve seems to be the OTT decoration -- until you see the belt around the middle.
Take both away and it looks sleeker.

Is there a secret shop somewhere that only has butt-ugly clothes? If so, Waity is a major return customer.

I've never seen this photo before--she actually looks healthy. I'm guessing it's from before the engagement.

She looks quite fierce in that one.
