I already said it: the fur collar is such a great way to spruce up a coat and give it the little festive and glamorous extra. It takes it from professional well-taylored business coat to special event glam.

I already said it: the fur collar is such a great way to spruce up a coat and give it the little festive and glamorous extra. It takes it from professional well-taylored business coat to special event glam.

She previously upgraded a brown Hobbs coat with a fake fur collar with similar success. I think the collar was from ASOS   |

It is! Midwinter outdoors glam! I've enjoyed all her looks during this mini tour and like the way each coat was a re-wear I'd bet everything being a rewear was intentional too. Their team probably knew that there would be people unhappy with the trip, and showing up in something new and pricy would've been heavily criticized with so many people suffering financially. It also means new clothes (and price tags) aren't taking attention away from the purpose of the trip. |

The queen does and Kate wil be queen someday. Also, it’s probably freezing oftentimes , and she doesn’t have much padding to keep herself warm. |

I was reminded on this tour just how often Kate wears British designers. Sure, the price range is way out of most people's league, but it would he interesting to somehow compare the economic impact of her wearing a coat versus the actual cost of it.
Kate somehow always seems to hit the mark with coats, I suspect she's taken lessons from the Queen and Camilla. I love the tartan one she wore for Christmas when pregnant with Louis.

Excellent choice! The Massimo Dutti is my favourite for casual/office, and it’s different from her usual C Walker/A McQueen/Hobbs and so on. |
