I don’t like it either, especially for this event.

She looks elegant to me. On this day, Marys outfit is quite stylish. I like both.

I hate to say it, but of the three, I think Kate comes across the least well. Daisy's outfit and flat shoes speak to a realistic assessment of her physical limitations and yet she looks professional and queenly. Mary looks appropriate for a late winter day. Kate looks too bare at the top and the proportions seem wrong to me.

It’s funny, I find Kate looking the best - polished, royal. Mary’s hair looks uncombed and Daisy’s skirt is drunk and leaning on the side.

FIFY j/k of course

Very uninspired coatdress and it's too long I think. Compared to how the others are dressed and to the setting it's too stiff and formal in a boring schoolmarm sort of way.

Mary: brassy hair, dark roots, looks unkempt. Outfit okay, dark stockings kill what is actually an okay (recycled?) look. Can't do much with the smirk and chicken anus mouth, though - nice to see she's still on form after all these years (I don't follow her as much as I used to).
Kate: hair is frizzy but okay, the spaniel ear look is back; she looks oddly old/harsh looking in this pic series - maybe it's the lighting that's unforgiving? I actually like her coatdress and her necklace, can't see her earrings bc of the hair. Obviously was told there was a color theme to coordinate with, so as to not outshine Daisy.
Daisy: like the blue color pop. Outfit is tilty probably because of her bad back. One of her shoes needs mending, I think, unless it's a trick of the light.

Kate wore a brand new dark green coat with leather covered buttons and a pointed collar for St Patrick's Day yesterday. It was made by Laura Green and retails for £3200. Kate's debuted a lot of expensive new pieces in the last six months, many very similar to stuff already in her wardrobe, and I don't think this is substantially different or nice enough to justify the price tag.

I don't think a new coat was needed for this event, but in case she wanted to keep the photos of the event fresh and distinct, here  are some green coats she already owns but but has not worn for St Patrick's Day...

I like this. Professional. Neutral. Nice design. I am curious about her jewelry, which I also like.

I know this post is 2 months old, but really need to point out that the "lean" is actually Daisy's scoliosis.

By my count, Kate has at least 32 longer length plain blue coats in her wardrobe. This is the new one worn today

which should not be confused with this one, which is woollen

or this one, which is a slightly teal-y blue

or this one which is a perfectly serviceable periwinkle blue coat but has a different collar

or this one, which is a paler blue
