I have to admit, when I saw her this morning, its one of the few times I've looked at her and seen a regal future Queen. I think she looks stunning, not OTT, just demure and solemn in remembrance. I really like the hat, it suits the edges of her face well.

I have thought this about her a few times lately.  I think it might be a combination of things.  She is wearing more sleek, grownup, dresses, and her demeanour seems to have changed, too.   Maybe everything in her life has just fallen into place finally, and I think it helps that William is also appearing more "kingly" beside her.

I don't mind the military cosplay of this dress/coat/coat-dress.  It makes a nice change from the plain black woollen coats the other women are wearing.

This look is similar to one her late MIL enjoyed with a quasi military feel, often by Catherine Walker. It looks good on her. I like that she wears British designers.

It's a lovely coat, but in the circumstances a little too military cosplay for me.  She has another coat like that (worn at Trooping, maybe?) and I find the resemblance to uniform a bit too much, tbh.

The hat does not help matters either. If you take away the veil and all the other fuss from the hat, it looks a bit like a military cap too.

I think that was the idea, echo of a military hat to go along with the braid on the coat. The embellishments at back of the hat hinting at a plume.

The green McQueen coat is maybe not new. She wore it before, according to reports Smiley

The earrings she wore yesterday were from the Pakistan tour, from Zeen.

I'd wear it. I'd wear most of her dark green coats so Kate, if you are having a declutter, call me, m'kay?

Like this one. I'd have this one

And this one. Which is maternity wear, so I might be able to do the buttons up

The green McQueen coat is not new. She wore it during the Pakistan visit last fall Wink

Thistle, can you post a picture or link of that?

That's okay, I just scrolled back in the threads to the tour and couldn't find it.  Beer

As with many of Kate's coats she's worn a similar one previously but I believe this is a new coat. She has a Persephone green trench coat that she's worn on St. Patricks Day.

She’s tall and can pull off long coats well ( unlike my short self) but I feel like this one was a bit too long and could have come up a few inches

Maybe she chose it because it is longer than the skirt.  She looks great in it.

Girl can rock the browns! I had no idea. She looks great to to bottom. A bit thin, but  looks great.
