IIRC there was a blue coat (what other colour!) that Kate wore originally wore while pregnant but was later tailored to suit her non-pregnant figure. I'm not an expert dressmaker but I imagine some of her maternity coats and dresses could be altered.

Yeah, the blue Catherine Walker she wore in Norway. It was re-tailored really well. Nice coat, too

It gives me a bit of hope that maybe this one can be tailored too, though with the pattern it might be quite a chore. It's one of my favorites:

I love this coat, and I loved the ivory dress she wore under it with the burgundy accessories, but I cannot figure out why she paired that red with that burgundy!!

I don't like the coat but it's not that bad on its own. The accessories are atrocious, though.
