Finally got to listen. Well done. Wish it wasn’t only at certain times though.

These types of recordings should be an archive accessible at all times as you suggest and not treated as a pay-per-view. Thinking

It is always amazing to meet young people who make a positive difference in their communities.

Yesterday this year’s Radio 1 Teen Heroes winners came to Kensington Palace to talk about the incredible things they have done to make a difference to the lives of those around them.

As noted in the article above, this is still at the investigative sate and will  be analyzed by  the Duchy of Cornwall, Prince William and Centrepoint.

Quote
Alleviate the homelessness situation
A Royal source said the idea was at an investigative stage, with numerous logistical obstacles to overcome before a plan could be put in place to make it a reality.
But they confirmed: “The Duke is interested in finding ways to help alleviate the homelessness situation in any way he can.”

This could be vital for locals.  Locals, especially younger people, are being priced out of accommodation by a huge demand for second homes and Air BnB.  I could be wrong, but has the Duchy already made some houses available?  I think I saw something about that on Simon Reeves show on Cornwall.  Anyway, should this come to fruition it will be very popular and much needed.

This will be a resource-intensive project. How will drug issues be managed? How will tenants be selected? The risk to heritage properties is a different calculus to a cheap Council build. I live a mile away from a wonderful housing project that provides housing largely for the disenfranchised and mentally ill. The government has to pour huge resources in to managing conflict and avoiding wilful damage to  the complex.

I was very sad to hear of Richard Leakey’s death. He was an inspirational & courageous conservationist and I was privileged to meet him. He transformed the Kenyan Wildlife Service & valiantly spearheaded efforts to stop elephant poaching. Conservation has lost a true visionary. W

Prince William will visit Dubai on February 10 at the request of the British Government, his first official visit to the UAE.
His programme comes in the 50th anniversary year of the UAE and will coincide with the UK National Day being held at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The National Day will see the UK take over the full site to showcase the extraordinary talent from across the UK. William will join these celebrations, which will also feature the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay, as it visits Commonwealth National Pavilions.

The prince will also use the whirlwind visit to highlight the work of
