From one extreme to another, last night's earrings were £6 from H&M

Could have at least done a horseshoe charm for a 0.1% less on the nose selection.

But as she's worn new earrings with every outfit change,  I  hope for a repeat tonight. She has 3-4 green Kikis, her Monica Vinadar,

Last night's earrings look like these gold hoops from Accessorize, which retail for £5

Article showing Kate’s earrings from the evening gala.

I can’t believe she wore something so cheap and tacky, where on earth are all Diana’s beautiful sapphires??

Well, you could look at it as saving the taxpayers’ money.  While I love LOVE the diamond and ruby earrings, I’m not as crazy about the Erdem piece.  Still, it matches her gown.  Good question about the sapphires though!  I wonder why she doesn’t wear them.  I sure would lol!

Oh! I didn’t notice them when the pics came out yesterday. WTH? Those are busy, look cheap and just generally suck. Blah.

Her look is so twee! But she wears it well and is appropriate for the event, if not her age. I rather like her dressing not to get attention for herself or get too designery.

Someone said upthread that outdoorsy Kate is the best Kate. Have to agree.

I know she's had 9+ years to accumulate but how many earring does on person need?  She must have over 50 pairs at this point, not including the fancy stuff.  And, like Celia said, she got ripped off...£2,400...for Quartz...yeah no.
