Love that Victoria had Christian, Amalia and Ingrid in her wedding! I love the closeness of the northern European royal families. It's a shame the Brits are no longer close to their continental kin, but it'll be nice for those three as future monarchs to have a godmother who can offer her experience and advice. It looks like she enjoys a warm relationship with her godchildren.

LOL, Victoria can go into history as the Godmother of Europe..
Anyway, where is the Picture of Godmother Maxima in her "mourning trophy wife turned rich widow" Outfit? That was hilarious..

I love to look at christening pictures.
Could we have pictures of the christening gowns for each royal family?

You mend this one, which she wore at the baptism of Sverre Magnus?

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, attended the baptism of Princess Maria, the daughter of Princess Christina Margarethe of Hesse in St. Sava Kirche in Notting Hill on October 6, 1957.
