I think PG is very cute here. Kannot looks like an over-photoshopped Stepford bot. Willnot looks like...Willnot. Very disappointing that HM isn't holding the baby for the "historic" photo; makes it much less interesting IMO.

I think someone mentioned in another post that the baby looks very alert to be only 3 months. In my opinion he looks like a 4-5 months old baby but what do I know. About Kate... Yes she looks kinda robotic and, what happened to her right eye? Looks weird.

In a word: photoshop. A whole lot of photoshop. In fact, a whole face transplant photoshop. That's why it took so long to get these photos: photoshop. I'm betting that the media have 3-4 favorite Kate faces that they simply bang in there whenever they have to do a close-up. Easier than trying to fix what's already there ...

The photo of George with outstretched arms cracks me up. Makes me think of Al Roker -- the weather guy on NBC's ``Today'' show -- who sometimes mugs it up with outstretched arms toward the crows that gather at Rockefeller Center, and shouts out ``my people! My people!'' Oh well, at least Georgie will never be called upon to add ``Sunday night is football night IN AMERICA!!!!''
I think the queen may have had some very good reasons for not holding the baby. I don't think she was photographed holding any of her other great grands, or, for that matter, her grandkids at their respective christenings. Plus maybe her hands don't have the strength they once did. He's a big baby and clearly pretty lively. Plus, she may not have had the patience to sit there and hold him just so.
I know people are getting so worked up about the four-generations photo not being being like the previous one. But I look at that photo of Victoria and am always reminded of her well-documented dislike of babies. So there's always seemed something somewhat hypocritical about it all. Far better to let the young and vigorous parent hold a wiggly child.

Is it just me or does George look older than 3 months? He's quite big and I was surprised by his arm motion in this pic. Bi-lateral motions like this are often seen in babies a bit older. So I guess he is either developing quickly or the surrogate had him early He's wailing his arms thinking, "yay! I won the birth lottery!" Seriously though, he's remarkably alert for a 3 month old. Maybe he's just like mummy - looks 5 years older than actual age. Babies just don't have the psychomotor coordination at 3 months that would allow them to raise their arms that high and keep them their for more than a second. It almost looks as though Kate is holding up his arms with her index fingers and thumbs. They're hidden behind his christening gown so as to give the illusion that he is a joyful baby and raising his arms on his own. At three months, your baby’s attempts to bring his hands to his mouth will be persistent, but mostly in vain at first. Even if his fingers occasionally reach their destination, they’ll quickly fall away. By four months, however, he’ll probably have finally mastered this game (which is also an important developmental skill) and be able to get his thumb to his mouth and keep it there whenever he wishes.

The next one who starts up the discussion will be warned. I've had enough of having to write it again and again
