Lol George is cute, hope he doesn't become Seabiscuit mini me, in terms of entitlement we know his father was arrogant when he was an infant.
Archie suits made.mw.rwmind of Richie Rich ...

Is Archie a typical nickname for a certain name? (Like Bob for Robert and so on)

Yes, it's short for Archibald. I'm clueless why he would say that was his name, though.

I find the use of nicknames a bit confusing because we don’t really use them in Denmark, at least not so systematically as they seem to be in English speaking countries Blush

Yes my father was known by Dick during his professional life
His name is Richard. It’s sometimes quite confusing here too.

It seems there are some recent children's books that have a character "Archie" e.g Archie Snufflekins Oliver Valentine Cupcake Tiberius Cat by Katie Harnett, and Archie by Domenica More Gordon - it could just be a name that tickled his fancy.  Smiley

Aw, that's cute! Thanks for the info Athena, I thought it had to be something like that. Kids at that age are so darling, especially the ones with vivid imaginations Icecream
