Birthday photo of George is out and for the first time ever, all I see is William. The expression on his face is all his dad.

It's his adult teeth growing in that's changing the set of his lower face. I do hope he doesn't inherit William's horsey set of teeth. But he also has William's set of eyes - not the color (hazel? light brown?) but the set. Everything else for now is Michael Middleton.

I think he already has inherited Williams horsey set of teeth. I also think genetics are interesting that Kate has green eyes, William has blue eyes and George has brown eyes. I think Mike Middleton is the only grandparent with brown eyes. George is sprinkled with a little of everybody unlike his sister who I think is pure Windsor.

Happy birthday to Prince George! The picture is terrific; he's a cutie! Like some of you, I'm seeing a bit of Windsor in him now when it used to be all Michael Middleton to me.  Here's hoping we get another picture or two tomorrow of this sweet, shy, happy little boy.  Hug

Modern orthodontia will help those teeth.  He doesnít have Williamís long face so I think those handsome Mike Middleton genes will go a long way mitigating the Windsor equine DNA.

He has great teeth. Heíll grow into them and they should close up beautifully- possibly with no intervention!

I am on the same team regarding the teeth: orthodontics have come a long way since and the public perception of what perfect and healthy teeth look like has also changed. He will get treatment like just about 99% of youngsters today and will turn out beautifully.
As to his shyness: he seems more so than his sister or his cousins, but not painfully so. I think with parents who give him room and obviously love and support, he might actually turn into a reflected and considerate person, rather than the  often impulsive and quick tempered Windsors and that might be a great benefit for him to accept his role in the future.
I think from many accounts on the former kings and royals, the strict composure and apparent calm has come with a great deal of pain and effort to control their tempers.
For George this might come easier which would be very good for him.

Fairy, good point on Georgeís personality. Not only has George inherited Mike Middletons eyes, he may have also inherited his general disposition. MM seems quiet, more reflective, reserved, etc.
