I beg your pardon, I missed that other photo, taken at an earlier Trooping.

I'm getting bored of people pinning fascinators to the front of their heads. I much prefer Gabriella W's big, stylish hats:

Big Suse also has some big hats, which look fab and really frame her face.

Who is the young lady beside Sophie?

What is Lady Gabriella Windsor up to these days?  Is she dating anyone?   She out royals Kate and the Yorkies any day of the week.

It's hideous. The peachy thingummybobbywhatsit on the top doesn't go with the rest of the hat. It's completely inappropriate for a solemn occasion.

She should have worn navy or grey, with a wide brimmed fairly conservative hat. It would have looked much more respectful than this effort.

She could have saved some money and wore that grey ensemble she wore for the Easter service in Australia (also McQueen).  There are so many other outfits she could have worn that she already has! I just don't understand the constant need to spend more money...Roll Eyes

She HAD to wear what she did today in case of a breeze. That way she could flash the world again.

A bucket would have sufficed and not have been so costly.

Kate buys multiple versions of what is essentially the same item of clothing. Like these hats.

She truly could have worn what she did for Easter. That whole look would have worked. As far as this new hat, 615 pounds for THAT? It is inappropriate and too festive for the solemnity of the occasion. Waity needs a stylist and image consultant. She can't get it right. If you're going to blow money, at least put it towards something useful like appropriate wardrobe and hat selection. Fascinators are fine for young girls, spring racing carnival, and maybe bridal showers, but she needs to invest in real hats. I will give her props. She can rock the hell out of a wide brimmed hat.

I find something so wrong about this hat/fascinator.  It's ugly and the beaded butterfly with netting just doesn't work.  There also appears to be a bow in the back.  It's like someone took a plain disc and got happy with a glue gun making the overall appearance to look cheap.  The style of the hat also clashes with the coat IMO.

Perhaps Waity took a page out of Beatrice's book and tried to have an attention-seeking headpiece.  Not a good idea for Remembrance Day.

The hat is incredibly twee, but what do we expect from Waity, especially on Remembrance Day?
