But at the end of the day, along with her patronages and her reproductive role, isn’t Kates job to look pretty, create a buzz for the royal family, get her picture taken, etc. I get she would look pretty and get her picture taken no matter what, but an event like Ascot really should debut a new outfit. Aside from the Queen, Kate is the evolutionary face/brand of the BRF, like her mother in law before her.

I was thinking she wore a lot of hats this year but then remembered that everything “hat” had pretty much been cancelled for two years. |

Beekeeper hat, lol! I bet it's nice to have the veil not touch the face, though. I like wide brimmed hats myself. I wasn't sure about her choker. I think the hole in the jewel is too big, but it's growing on me. LOVE the earrings.  Boy, she's come a long way from falling out of cars drunk from pubs! |
