Check out this picture of Fabiola with Silvia and tell me if you think anything about it.

Because, what I'M thinking is,
Dang, Fabiola and Silvia don't look that far apart in age, in that picture. Now, I know there is quite a gap in ages, but if Fabiola had gone heavily on the plastic surgery route, I wonder what she'd look like. I really appreciate the royal ladies who age gracefully without taking a puff off the plastic surgery bong.
Fabiola still is a pretty lady even at this age. At least, imho.

Princess Grace

In her 50's letting the gray come naturally into her hair

Bea

Camilla

When you keep going the cutting route, you rob yourself of the ability for your character and life experiences to shine through your face in later maturity. I think it's a real pity.
And Sylvia

My GOD, that mouth!
I'm a huge Greta Garbo fan, and one of the pictures I really love of her is a crappy shot for a passport where I don't think she even combed her hair. It's crazy, but there's something about that shot when I think of the sum of her life experiences and how she wasn't owned by her beauty. It wasn't a cage for her.
Impossible to maintain beauty

Aging gracefully

Passport Photo

The thing I think is so remarkable about the crappy passport photo above is that even with straggly hair and no bra she looks beautiful because her face just always catches the light somehow.
Anyway, here's to the royal ladies who manage to age gracefully and with some style and class.
