On November 30th (Saturday) on RTL-TVI, Saturday @ 8:25 p.m., a program "Palace Royale", will broadcast an interview (in French) with Marie and Joachim from their castle Schackenborg!

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark will receive Alix Battard exclusively to Schackenborg Castle, their residence in South of the Kingdom.
The interview is about education, marriage, step-family, commitments and professional life ... the son and daughter-in-law of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik have entrusted their daily life to journalist "Place Royale".  Apple, the family dog, was also present for this meeting at the Chateau. An interview with ease ... in French!

Following pictures give us a glimpse of the interior cozy, castle Schackenborg! It's simple, comfortable and unpretentious, like Marie and Joachim!

Here are the photos taken to show "Place Royale" which happens tonight at the Belgian television!

I fully agree, thanks PeDe Star! I love the place, luxurious and yet cozy... Smiley very big though... It must be hard for Marie to do the cleaning all by herself

Beautiful pictures!  Thanks, Peeds Star

I'm just a tiny bit disappointed though-these are all rooms we've seen before.  I was hoping for pics of the whole place.  I know, I know…that will never happen (but a girl can wish). Yes

Good eye!  I thought that purple might have been new. Thinking

I remember the beautiful pics of Marie that were taken a few years ago on that pink/purple couch.  I couldn't remember seeing purple in the Schack during that time.  I'd love to see the rooms they actually use, as well as the children's play room and more of the garden.

A bit OT, but how cute is that milk jug? It actually looks like a place where a family lives. It's grand but not imposing, and the walls aren't covered with terrible modern murals.

It looks like a HOME,    rather than just a big house

Alix is expecting ;-) !

They look relax and natural. Compared to them, the couple "trappd Fredd - psychorigid Bogan" looks always so tense and fake ! Good for them ! This couple is not a fraud !

Oooh…I just noticed that milk jug.  I have the same one!!!!  I can tell you that it didn't cost much, and I got it in an ordinary little home shop.

Marie has always struck me as being very down to earth.  Jokke seems more formal, but their home is very cozy and inviting.  The Clown Prince home, on the other hand, looks as cold as Mosh and Fred's relationship.

Thanks for the photos! Star

I don't like everything about the interior but IMO it looks like a home and a palace.
