Does anyone think that Theodora's carachter in The Bold and the Beautiful would deserve more lines?
She's a 100% blue blooded princess and they give her only few lines as Bill Spencer P.A.

Probably she should sack the soap and start a reality about being a princess without a crow, à la Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy that,in Italy, made his fortune doing exactly so.

Unfortunately, soap operas mostly require very Barbie/Ken physical beauty and she ain't got it.  She's average, at best, which is fine for a non-actor but she's competing in a world where they're going to judge her more on her looks than her bloodlines.  She needs to get some acting lessons, and then work on the stage for a bit.  She's not really made for high-def television.

It's weird, cuz she majored in theatre at college, so it's not like she hasn't had any experience prior to this soap.  Lots of now-big-stars started in soap operas.  I would think the main difference with her (as opposed to every other star-struck "I'm gonna be a star!" arriviste in LA) is that she doesn't have to wait tables and she's on the guest-list for some swanky parties already (oh, you know, the crown prince of Spain is in town and wants to see cousin Thea).

I've seen clips of her on that show, and there's nothing in her performance that shows exceptional ability or justifies her being given a bigger part.   Yes  She's very, very average in her acting.  I'm surprised she's even on the show at all-she certainly doesn't have the look of a typical soap actor. I agree that she does not have the physique du role of a soap opera actress, but when she enters the scene she commands attention.
She seems to ooze confidence and may be her character would deserve a little story of her own, because she is not a worse actress than others soap's minor characters

Very average actress. !!!   I should think working in her father's office in London, with her
brother Nick might be more beneficial for her. Maybe she has some PR skills that we are not
aware of. Surely the GRF could use the help..  Grin

have anyone see the episode in which Alison/Theodora is stuck in a (fake) italian house with Deacon the bad boy and they kiss???
And,while The Bold and Beautiful kisses are always very passionate, Deacon kissed her with great respect,as he thought the greek royal guards, pon pon and all, would enter the set anytime soon and put him in jail for inappropriately kissing their princess?Huh?

In anycase, since that highlight, almost no more lines for our Thedora. sigh

Her forehead is blocked because of massive amounts of Botox, IMO.  It doesn't seem to move like the rest of her face.

They said in the video that they're spending Christmas in Greece.  I wonder if we'll get any pics of the family going to church or pretending to be royal in their former homeland. Thinking

why someone as young as theodora seems to feel the need to paralyze her forehead?
since when a paralized forehead means youth?
ok, in the soap bold and beautiful she doesn't have to show a big amount of emotions (she only has to say things like "bill, katie has arrived. bill, donna is outside the door.") but starting too soon with botox or filler,IMHO,just takes you quickly to look older than you are.

brooke logan did little work on her face and she look stil youthful, while donna (who is 10 yrs younger and did much more work) seems to be of uncertain age.

I would like to think that her parents tried to discourage her from pursuing a career as an actress.  The poor thing is just not suited for it.    The late Katherine Hepburn said something along the lines of, "Long ago we had actress trying to become stars.  Now we have stars trying to be actresses."

in any case, when i watched theodora in BB, i had this feeling that she was zero intimidated by acting,or by other actors(this doesn't mean she was a great actress).she entered the scene with a " hello guys, my parents were kings, my aunt is a queen, my brother's father in law is the duty free king, and so: who are you? bill or liam spencer?? oh, sorry for you!" expression.

I admit I'm tired of not seeing good acting onscreen.
