
Still the classic, IMO.
But guys! We're being too cruel! Kate has a very, very hard job and is in the public eye. Could any of us do better? Could you image swapping your freedom to live in protected luxury and then for maybe 1 or 2 hours a month max we have to meet someone interesting and try and pay attention to what they say for five minutes. Or even just pretend to pay interest?
How hard would that be?
I think we should be grateful that a genuine princess (because William says so, alright?) put on a nice dress, tried not to sneer too much at your school, hospice or whatever, flicked you in the face with her hair several times, stifled several yawns while you tried to make conversation, and then left earlier than expected.
The following day, when the front pages are covered with her hair and her dress and her skirt flipping, and there is maybe a misspelt mention of your deserving charity on page 17 of the local paper, and she doesn't respond to any follow up letters, and the amount you spent on the flowers, plaque and red carpet means that the children will have to do without Christmas next year.... well, it all feels worth it, doesn't it?
