Oh Duchess, I am so sorry for your loss. And yes, I am a completely agnostic but I firmly believe that there is a dog heaven and Ellie was greeted with lots of balls, cookies and a great party.
I am glad she got to go to sleep in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love you provided and the calm that we all wish for.
But all in all, I send you a very tight and warm cyber hug, since I know that none of the above makes it easier for us to let them go....

Adding my sympathy and support to these wishes of comfort and peace, Duchess.  What a difficult year this has been for you, first with your daughter's frightening experience at college and now having to say goodbye to a furry family member.  I know I can't say anything to make you less sad, but I'm sending my love and a virtual hug.   Hug

There's no way to introduce this topic in an elegant manner, so here it is :  Sweating

You can’t polish a turd, but you can clad it in bronze-coloured steel. Edinburgh’s new W Hotel is proof. Poking its faecal peak above the historic skyline, puncturing the globally cherished panorama of elegant stone steeples and spires, this shimmering pile is evidence that, despite all the Unesco World Heritage site protections, conservation group campaigns and lengthy planning negotiations, shit still happens.

One of the yard customers told me that he got some compliments from people about "how beautiful my flowers were".
I told him: They are your flowers. He replied: They are your flowers.

This yard customer's sister is visiting from out of state. She told me that her brother showed her his flowers. She expressed that the flowers are beautiful.

Meet Phantom, one of the world’s largest horses 🐴

 Hug  https://twitter.com/nowth.../1417850097337978883?s=20   Yikes

On the video, it's said he is 8 feet tall (!), but it seems to be a mistake; the difference of size with the woman who's his rider is not that huge. Still, he's impressive.

Gentle Giants is one of the horse charities I support. I am beyond thrilled to see it on RD. Two of my favorite things in one site!

2021 winner of Duck Brand’s annual Stuck at the Prom scholarship for the best prom dress made entirely of duct tape. It's the best one yet IMHO.

Duck Brand is headquartered in a building shaped like - yep - a duck.

That's a very, very impressive photo. The bird, in case you are wondering, is an Osprey.
