Yes, because she is not related to the occasion.

Fred was there because he is Nikolai's god father, so he was there again when Nik was confirmed. It was the immediate family from both sides. Parents, Step-parents, Grandparents, Godparents.

I haven't been to one so I don't know the protocol Blush, I always thought that those occasions were open to all the family (even to the wife of your godparent).

AliCat, they are. The whole family are together and celebrates "konfirmanden" all day - but here at the official pictures, only the closest family and godparents are represented. Therefore no Mary  Grin

The DRF is kind of lucky that Jokke actually started two lovely families and is the father to four well-behaved, nice children. He had a very professional first wife and a "cute and photogenic" second wife. No wonder they are increasingly chosen to represent the DRF.

If you remember Frodo and Clan at the concert - appaling, nothing loveable about them. The only cute ones there are the twins.

So true! He might be an arrogant twit, but at least he is an arrogant twit who loves his wife, goes some work without complaint and is a good, engaged father.
