Does anybody know who Alexandra Knatchbull is dating?  There is a photo of her  on her facebook page with a guy but no ID.
Her father is Norton Knatchbull, Lord Brabourne , Earl Mountbatten's grandson and cousin of the DOE and Charles.  She appears regularly at the Windsor Horse Show and was at Linus and Lobster's wedding .  She was said to be whom the Queen wanted Willnot to marry.  She is allegedly being groomed to take over Broadlands since her brother Nicholas is a(former?) drug addict.
Any info on her?  I know you able Dishers will be able to dig the info up.

"For two years, she has been quietly groomed  to run one of the country’s great estates.
Now comes a further sign that Alexandra Knatchbull is being made ready for a key role at Broadlands, her historic home in Hampshire where the Queen and Prince Charles spent part of their honeymoons.
Alexandra, 30, is to become the first woman president of the Romsey District Scouts.
She succeeds her father, Lord Brabourne, who walked out on his family for a life in the Bahamas with exotic beauty Jeannie McWeeny in 2010.
His wife — Prince Philip’s carriage-driving pal Penny Brabourne — has taken on the 5,000-acre estate.
But with Brabourne’s heir Nicholas, who has struggled with drugs, unable to play a full role, responsibility for its future has fallen to Alexandra, goddaughter of Princess Diana.
Scout chiefs are thrilled by the appointment, which comes after the Duchess of Cambridge offered to be a volunteer.
‘Scouting now is very much open to all,’ says Romsey commissioner John Papworth."

This one is brand new;

"'Godchild of Princess Diana becomes patron of Mountbatten School, Romsey" 10/01 2014 http://www.princess-diana....com/diana-news-blog.html

"A Godchild of Princess Diana is to become the latest royal to champion a Hampshire state school.

Lady Alexandra Knatchbull is to take over from her father, Lord Brabourne, as patron of The Mountbatten School in Romsey.

The school was built on Broadlands Estate land donated by the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, who officially opened it in 1974

Earl Mountbatten, the school’s founder patron, designed the school uniform which includes his heraldic crest, the Order of the Garter on the blazer.

Following his assassination by the IRA in 1979, Earl Mountbatten’s grandson, then Lord Romsey who later succeeded to his father’s title of Lord Brabourne, became school patron.

Mountbatten head teacher Christopher Cox said: “We are grateful to Lord Brabourne for his steadfast support and ongoing interest in the school. However, it has been necessary for Lord Brabourne to reduce his public commitments.

“We are delighted, The Honourable Alexandra Knatchbull has accepted our invitation to become the school’s third Patron.

Alexandra, who studied theology at Regent’s Park College Oxford, and International Security at Georgetown University in the USA is a Senior Analyst at FTI Consulting, a global business advisory firm is the great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria and a third cousin twice removed of the Queen.

Through Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, she is the third cousin of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.

I'll see if I can find out about the boyfriend.....

But she is a smart horse.  She graduated from Oxford and got a graduate degree from Georgetown.  I know she works a high ranking official at FTI global security firm in London.  Those Mountbatten want nothing to do with the Windsor horses.  Her aunt Amanda refused to marry Prince Charles and Alexandra has had nothing to do with Willnot.  He never would have wanted to marry her: she is intelligent and educated, she works with charities, and she works period.

Do any of our legal eagles know if the Broadlands estate has been separated from the title Earl to prevent her brother from "ruining" it?  Her mother was trying to do so.

Broadlands came from Edwina's family, so there's no connection between it and the Mountbatten title.  In fact, the Mountbattens don't have much at all in terms of inherited real estate, nor did the Battenbergs.  They married well, though --Victoria's daughter and grand-daughter come to mind.  Edwina had the bucks, and Dickie had the connections and blood.

Celia, maybe why that is why they keep saying that Alexandra is being groomed to run the Estate.  The title will go to Nicholas, but other than perhaps a closely monitored trust fund, the mother lode will go to Aleandra.  I read somewhere that the Estate etc, was worth around 100 British pounds which is around 150 USD.  She is quite the heiress.

Mountbatten is the anglicization of Battenberg.  Prince Philip's mother was Princess Alice of Battenberg. She was the sister of Prince Louis of Battenberg, aka The Earl Mountbatten of Burma.  Patricia, Countess Mountbatten, Alexandra's grandmother, is the elder daughter of Louis.  If Charles had married any of the Mountbattens, I think there would have been a higher probability of serious genetic consequences - Charles's parents are related directly in several different ways.  Then adding in ANOTHER Mountbatten would have seriously cut off some genetic branches.  As much as I dislike Kate, at least she's not part of this disgusting genetic soup.  George has a good chance of not looking like a horse (I think).

OTOH, Alexandra has a good grasp of the concept of service and responsibility, and I suspect she'd have kept W in line and not put up with these antics. That she passed on the opportunity only proves that she's extremely smart, and good for her.

I found this DM article about Nicholas Knatchbull:
http://www.dailymail.co.u...-marry-nurse-Eritrea.html

Quote
Ex-drug addict heir to £100m Mountbatten fortune is to marry nurse from Eritrea.
Quote
There is little about this casually dressed couple to suggest that you’re in the presence of aristocracy.
But the shaven-headed man in the hooded top is the honourable Nicholas Knatchbull, godson of Prince Charles and heir to the £100million Mountbatten fortune. And the woman by his side is nurse Raz Tedros – who, as his new fiancee, is set to become the 9th Baroness Brabourne when he one day inherits the family title.
Eton-educated Nicholas, who currently has the courtesy title of Lord Romsey, is a former drug addict who once risked being disinherited because of his battles with crack cocaine and heroin.
Now, after almost two years free from drugs, the 32-year-old is steadily rebuilding his relationship with father Lord Brabourne, grandson of Lord Mountbatten.
