What is the religious event Octave?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octave_celebration

When I googled "Luxembourg Octave Grand Ducal Family" it appears that they traditional attend the closing mass on the 5th Sunday of Easter which is May 19th this year.  I think court mourning ends the 4th or 5th of June.

Too bad she isn't the heir, she has much more class than Gui or Felix. She seems to be doing a lot of things that the heir/spare should be doing, she will also travel to Montenegro for the games of the small countries that will start next monday.

She is going alone according to the newspaper article. Felix doesn't seem to be interested in representing Lux. Since Gui is "studying" in London, the normal thing would have been to send Felix and to have felix doing the event with Henri but for some unknown reason, Alex is doing those things and she does it very well.

That's a really nice outfit and it's nice to see a Lux kid out there working.

Gui, Felix, even Louis... useless. Come on Alex, you can do it

Power to our Alex!! She also travelled to Japan with the GD last year. She seems to grasp the meaning of their role much better than her older brothers. I think even Louis would carry /have carried out some duties with dignity -- pity he was so young back then, long ago.Well-done, Princess!

She looks great. A pity that she's not the heiress.

I'm on the fence - we are critical of spares who want the royal status and money but want to determine what they do. So I can understand that he is leaving the space in Lux to his brother. Alex seems to be happy to represent the family..... I can't see Steph doing more than she has to ....

 Star Thanks, Lady Adelaide!

Standing to Alexandra's left are Princess Nora and Princess Maria-Anunciata, both of Liechtenstein.  Maria-Anunciata is the daughter of Grand Duke Henri's sister, Princess Margaretha.  How nice that these cousins can be there together!  Perhaps this is why she chose to attend.  Alexandra looks great - casual, but put together!

"The Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) is a biennial multi-sport event organized by and featuring the National Olympic Committees of nine European small states, established in 1985.  These European states are those with a population of fewer than one million people.  The Olympics-style event, gives athletes from nine small nations—Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, San Marino, Malta, Monaco, Cyprus, and Montenegro—a better shot at going for gold.”

I have always loved it when two members from two royal families from small countries tied the knot (= Margaretha of Luxembourg & Nikolaus of Liechtenstein; Maria-Anunciata's parents)

Is there any news on Sebastian in regard to his career in the military or if he sis planning on continuing his studies in order to build a career. Maybe he has a wealthy girlfriend like his brother did?
