Looking at Charles.... he seems not in good health...... maybe the long haul visits are getting too much.... I'm a decade or more younger but my distance holiday times are over

I think they were both probably tiring a bit at the end. Long flight over, yes, but they also island hopped with a busy schedule everywhere. It would have been nice to have some downtime on the beach before going home, if it were me.

It's looks like the necklace and earring might be her Diamond and Pearl Drop Demi-Parure (http://queensjewelvault.b...-cornwalls-pear-drop.html).

CH has announced a Germany visit from May 7 to 10, 2019 for Charles and Camilla.
They'll go to Berlin, Leipzig and Munich - and while in Bavaria, they'll visit  an organic farm as well.

Just stumbled on this profile of Camilla by Victoria Murphy from earlier this month that I don't think was shared on RD. It confirms a lot of what you hear about what Camilla is really like, but it's a nice read. She seems like a fun and lovely woman.

She definitely is. Cams is one of my favourites of the Brits. She's always funny and doesn't take herself too serious.

One of the things I love about Camilla is the way she goes about her duties quietly and diligently with a warm smile on her face and no pompous attitude.    When she is with Charles, it is always clear that she is the supporting act and in those moments when the focus is to be on Charles she walks a little behind him and allows him to shine but she does it in a way that does not imply inequality at all, just that he is the one with the main job and she is his supporting act.  They are a team.  I think she manages to strike a perfect balance between normalcy and royalty, and a person with such an obvious sense of humour and a mischievous smile is always going to find favour with me.

I agree, Margaret.

I'm a big Camilla sugar. It says a lot about her the quiet way she goes about her patronages and charities, the care she takes with them and the things she has done to support them, all the while knowing so many people loathe her for (IMO) a very stupid reason.

I think age helps keep things in perspective and she has lived a full life before marrying Charles. It speaks volumes about her character that she doesn't make her charities all about her but all about them.  Having a good sense of humor is vital to any relationship - especially one so high profile.  JMO
