Yesterday evening in Munich.
Lovely dress on Camilla.
Charles held a speech at the banquet, obviously fully in German (haven't yet found footage to verify).

Earlier the afternoon, they visited famous "Hofbruhaus" and had a small beer ...

I know royals don't do this, but winning a meet and greet with Charles and Camilla (especially with her) would be so much fun.

^Thirsty work doing walk about s ;-P.

And as someone who just had to buy a prom dress for a not very tall but quite bosomy daughter, I wish there were more dresses cut like this on the stores. How many of us fit the 'perfect size' dress at the mall? Could they at least be a flattering cut to nornal humans? People who wear a bra?

I do think that Camilla dresses exceptionally well, a real role model for women of a certain age and figure configuration. Frankly, I think she's getting better fashion advice than the Queen, who sometimes ends up with excessively fussy hats and or coats.

Really neat they visit those who serve the National Trust. It's such an important organization in the UK!

I have to say IMO it is with the veterans generation that C&C really shine and come into their own, especially at events like this.
That's not to say they don't do well with other generations at all.

I truly like Camilla and her clothes. She is  great. But yesterday's  outfit brought Wedgwood to my mind. Sad

A saw several mentions on the Trooping the Colors about Louis waving at Charles on the balcony.  Have I missed a video of that anywhere?  It sounded just precious.

I've told the story before but Milla made me a sugar years ago when leaving the US after a state trip.  She'd received through out the trip many lavish bouquets but on the last day one of their stops was a homeless shelter and a man gave her a single rose.  Later when getting on the plane to leave she was carrying that rose.  I don't know why it touched me or what it stirred but I thought it was somehow a very beautiful thing to do, natural, humble, not fussy and then all my negative feeling for her flipped on a dime.

She dresses well and likes to wear nice jewelry, we may dish but it's hardly ever about her clothes.   I can easily imagine her at her farm chasing grand kids, barefoot, laughing carrying a glass of wine.  I'd like her for a neighbor, the highest compliment I can give anyone.  Her and Max, JMO I think they'd show up with wine and a shoulder to cry on and have you laughing in no time.

I thought her dress was a nice color (not many people could pull off that color) but the Wedgwood design didn't go with my taste either.

Maybe Wedgewood China was the inspiratio for the design?

The coatdress is a repeat from last year, she has worn it for the garden party shortly after H&Ms wedding. I guess it was the one for Charles' 70th birthday
