why is hugh grant there? he's sittimg next to mrs m G I don't get most of the celebrity guests. It makes it less classy. Although they're in France, maybe they think hiring an escort is no big deal and enough time has passed. I'll give pass to Didier Drogba as he played for both for Marseille and Chelsea, so he's a good choice for a unifying celebrity.

Little Thunder thank you so much for keeping us updated with the visit's details. It seems lovely and the visit to the Notre Dame restoration is a great choice for the organizers. Brigitte's wig seems a little too full it is giving bobblehead vibes but otherwise the Macrons seem to be lovely hosts. Camilla's face during the ping pong game is terrific very unflustered. The Chanel workshop would be a real treat to see those are legendary places doing age old craft.

En plein cœur de la capitale, à deux pas de Notre-Dame, cet écrin symbolise l'amitié indéfectible entre nos peuples.
On behalf of Paris, I feel honoured to welcome Their Majesties to the Queen Elizabeth II Flower Market.
Located in the historic centre of Paris, close to Notre-Dame, it is a symbol of the unwavering friendship between our two peoples. Brigitte's hair always tends to be a little too poofy and she seems a bit odd, but I bet she's a fun hostess!

When I look at these photos of Charles in France, an old -- and somewhat vulgar -- expression comes to mind that is used to describe someone very happily in his or her element, namely ``happier than a pig in sh*t.''
Now that his period of intense mourning for his mother is over, it looks like Charles feels like he's come into his own, taking on the job for which he quite literally was born. The fact that he is competent in French, that Camilla seems to be enjoying the trip and that France has rolled out the red carpet and then some are all adding to the moment, I'm sure.
At the coronation, Charles seemed so reduced in size and majesty, but on this trip, to my eyes, he's got his mojo back. I particularly enjoyed the photos of his visit to Notre Dame and loved the one of him with one of the stone craftsmen.
Oh, and one more thing, just in passing. Sir Mick at 80 looks healthier and more ready to take on the next decade that either of our US presidential candidates. There must be something restorative to lots of drugs, sex and rock and roll . . . if you manage to make it through the early years' excesses unscathed.

Loom! From Elle: Charles III visited the embroidery workshop of Maison Lesage where he spoke with Hubert Barrère, artistic director of Lesage, and three embroiderers about their jobs and embroidery techniques. Queen Consort Camilla, for her part, visited the textile workshop where she was able to watch a demonstration of tweed weaving on a traditional loom. The couple also met apprentices training in the workshops of the various resident houses of 19M as well as stylists, artists and exhibitors from Galerie 19M. Cam's sat at the loom and did a little weaving herself. That's a 24 harness loom which means it can weave more intricate patterns. The harnesses are controlled by the wooden levers across the top. I wish Cams had brought a brooch or two out of the vault.

It doesn't matter how old you get, buying snacks for a road trip should always look like an unsupervised 9-year-old was given $100.
