What is going on with Laurent & Claire?

Claire works as a land surveyor , so I think Laurent got a decrease/ or was looking for an increase in the appanage but didn't get it. His response to this is that there isn't enough money for them both to carry out royal  engagements so he will do them solo. It's their form of protest.

Is Laurent depressed again?  In the pictures of his appearance last night at gala evening of the Prince Laurent Foundation, at Cercle Royal Gaulois, in Brussels, Thursday 26 February 2015 he looks like he just got out of bed to attend the function.   What is going on?  He seemed to be doing well and he is indeed one of my favorites.  (Sorry, I do not know how to post pictures.)

I hope not.  I've been rooting for him.  After the hospitalization last year, I started to realize that he's not the obnoxious douchebag he's seemed to be over the years.  I feel badly for the way he was treated by his parents.  I really hope he's well.

I worked with the mentally ill  for 30 years prior to my retirement.   When a relapse is impending, grooming is one of the first things to deteriorate.  That is what made me think of depression.

ITA with you re grooming and depression.  But in these photos, Laurent looks groomed just fine to me, and dressed nicely--just more casually than the others.
