Requesting a new 2016 spending thread again especially as her spending  in 2015 was nearly equal to Mary's.

Whoops. I just noticed this is in the William, Kate, George & Charlotte section. Sorry for my obvious mistake.

Maybe there's a thread about this already but I'd really love a
'Kate - most memorable moments thread'

For us newbies, it would really be a blast.

Cambridges vs the media.
To keep track of all the times willy has alienated the press, and how they strike back and pr moves to keep them calm (also because of the unusual number newspapers that are currentely writing articles about the lazy pair)

How about a 'Fashion suggestions for Waity' thread? For clothes and hairstyles we wish Waity would try or that we think would look good on her - either from other royals, celebrities, or just random pics.

What about a Random Chat thread, since there's long periods of time these two don't do anything

^ I've kept a list of threads I wish were pinned to the top of the section so they would be used instead of mixing subjects within the News sections. It would help organize the discussions, keep them on track and guide members to a thread that is more focused on a subject. Pinning the subject threads would keep them at the top of the section, easily found for posting to the most appropriate topic. Over time, it would provide an archive of the topic, easily searched and referenced for current comments.

I wish that the following threads were pinned to the beginning of the Will, Kate, George & Charlotte section so they can be quickly found for posting and help organize posters comments.

The topic thread types are:

NEWS threads to pin: Engagements, appearances, official trips:

News and photos of William and Kate (current thread,  Roman numeral grouping)

Kate - news and photos (current thread, Roman numeral grouping)

William - news and photos (current thread, Roman numeral grouping)

DISCUSSION threads to pin: Current threads.
This would keep detailed discussions out of the News section and into a separate, ongoing discussion:

   Kate's - COATS/COATDRESSES (already a thread in this section)

Kate's - COCKTAIL (shorter) dresses (already a thread in this section)

Kate's - GALA dresses (already a thread in this section)

Kate's - HATS and FASCINATORS (already a thread in this section)

Kate in a TIARA (already a thread in this section)

It's All About Hairs - Kate's Pantene moments (already a thread in this section)

Kate's BOOTS (already a thread in this section)

Kate's jewelry (already a thread in this section)

Waity's Royal Gaffes (already a thread in this section)

And then new topics to pin of RANDOM CHAT threads that Lothwen suggests that cover topics not listed above such as:

   Random Chat - Residences, Household

Random Chat - PR, Media Use & Staff

Random Chat - Travel & Holidays

   Random Chat - D&D of Camb: Funding/Finances/Expenses

Random Chat - D&D of Camb: Fulfilling Their Royal Roles

The above RANDOM subjects seem to cover to the postings and discussions over the last year in many of the threads.

The organization of threads pinned to the Will, Kate, George and Charlotte section is IMHO.
I often wished these topics were readily at hand at the top of the section.

Does anyone else have an opinion of my suggestions that were prompted by Lothwen's request?

the work shy lamebridges are "keen" on excuses for not working, I'd be interested in a thread to keep an accurate count of lame lamebridges excuses for dodging any kind of worthwhile work,  ignoring duty and traditions.

http://www.dailymail.co.u...raises-grave-concern.html

So unthinking were her advisers in Kensington Palace that when a row about her absence erupted they replied that she?d simply gone home to Norfolk to be with her children. For Kate to miss an opportunity to honour the Armed Forces with such a lame excuse shows a distinct lack of understanding.

Last month the Duke failed to show up at the Baftas for the second year running. He is the Academy?s president, so it?s as if the cream of British cinema and a clutch of Hollywood A-listers had been stood up by their host. Again.

The Duke and Duchess have had their decision to leave London for the safety and privacy of Anmer Hall in Norfolk wholly indulged.

They may have been thrilled by their own cleverness at having a secret four-day ski break in Courchevel earlier this month but where they see an entitlement to privacy, the public see a rich, increasingly spoiled couple growing surprisingly distant.

The Queen Mother used to call it devoir, the French for duty. If she thought her daughter was exhausted or fed up ? and the Queen is not superhuman ? she would whisper the word ?devoir?. It was their code to ?carry on? regardless.

For more than 63 years the Queen has done exactly that and today she herself points out that the art of being Royal is a matter of practice.

Just wondering if we could possibly have a Kate's Wardrobe Malfunctions thread to list all the public flashing that takes place.

I think wardrobe malfunctions can be posted here.
