That's fantastic, to have an ongoing program and including all the finalists. Earthshot is an amazing award as is, but this really builds upon it. Well done to William and the Earthshot board.

William spent 40 minutes talking with them! Full marks. Glad to know that he was able to listen to those who are affected by the flooding.

Especially when there this is taking place in 2 very different time zones. It's not just Willam's schedule that has to be taken into consideration.

According to this article, William has made a personal donation to the Australian Red Cross to assist those affected by the flooding. The sum was not disclosed. https://www.townandcountr...ation-australia-flooding/William may have a better understanding than most of what the rescue teams are facing, having worked both as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot and an Air Ambulance pilot. Kensington Palace also said today that the Prince has made a private donation of an undisclosed sum to the Australian Red Cross which is working in the areas affected.

This is the same as the late Queen and Charles use to do. I assume it comes from Duchy money for both the Duke of Cornwall and the Sovereign.

Yes indeed they both were known for making these private donations and frequently it was for disaster relief.
