I donít hugely have an issue with the pic being from the back as we do see the kids so often its not like they are hiding anything. I also wonder if its a way around the whole photoshopping drama

It's meant to artfully convey connectivity. I like it.

Not every picture has to be a full front portrait. Catherine has a good eye for things like this.

Awww in *this* instance, I can take it.  It's *very* affectionate, & on the Norfolk beach they love (many family photos taken there & released) & frankly - They are photographed "full front" practically every day of their lives, so if they want a break why not.

I also like the picture because of the reasons you stated. It also touched me with a little sad emotion, him being alone with his children facing the sea and his wife being so ill. But that is just my interpretation.

I also donít mind it because they donít do it often. We see the children regularly. Kate isnít out there, pulling a Eugenie, and posting various coy pictures. This picture is more about emotion and connection than ďteasingĒ.

I can see your interpretation.

but . . .

It must have been a good day for Kate. They probably all frolicked on the beach after the photo was taken. Louis looks poised to run the moment he is given the go ahead.  Smiley

That's an interesting collection, thanks for sharing.  You don't see Queen Victoria's bloomers for sale every day!

Where did all those Diana items come from?  Past auctions?

Nice to see Carole , besides Kate's health it has been a difficult year for her. It must not have been easy to see a business you start be sold for nearly a fraction of what it once was worth.

Just seen William having a chat with Fred at the England vs Denmark game at the Euros.

William in a shirt and tie; Fred looks like he just rolled out of bed. Plus Áa change.

OH Really? They both are in Germany for the European Football Championship! Great...

Germany is hosting the EM this year and the country is completely in  a "soccer or football" fever. It is a very special atmosphere with so many fans from all European countries ! It is a wonderful occasion for feeling united as Europeans in such difficult times. Most of the fans have behaved perfectly and didin't use the games as a platform to express their hate for certain other countries (such as Albania and Croatia vs. Serbia).

Although usually not a football fan I am watching a lot of the games, but most of all I am glad that so far everything went  smoothly.
