Just wow!  Prince William is coming into his own.  At some point in our lives, the light switch goes on.  Mine came on, when I realized my boring job was going to give me a very good pension.  I became so engaged, I actually won an award at work.  William’s came on during the pandemic I think…

When I heard HM approved damehood for Deborah I was hoping she might be able to receive the honor in person! This is so lovely. Good on William for being there and spending time with her and her family. It'll definitely be a precious memory for her kids.

Maybe it is just because I’m not a football fan but i’m always so cynical that important sporting moments and film premiers make it on to his calendar.

Isn’t it his job as President of Englands Football Association? To hand out the trophy’s  and show support? Yes he’s a sports fan but it’s also part of his responsibility. He only attends a few games a year I think?
He’s President of Bafta and people complain when he doesn’t attend every year. 🤷‍♀️

It is part of his “job” to be fair. I like William more and more but I guess it just bugs me he and Catherine don’t exactly work their socks off but seem to be able to attend big premiers and sporting fixtures each year. When they work as hard as Anne I’d have no issue with it (as I don’t with her being at Murrayfield regularly). Its just a gripe of mine going back to the days they really did very very little.
