People seem to be able to come pretty close to the King, from these photos.  I mean there are some obvious security men there but also citizens.  That's nice.  I hope it can be kept up.

I really hate how only the women dress up in the folk costumes. Either everyone does it or nobody does.

It be nice if the men did. It looks quite strange if only one in a couple does. But att the same time the men don't dress upp with crowns on their heds either. I think they should.

Daniel wore the Ockelbo costume once and looked pretty good in it too. I'd love to see him wear it again

I feel exactly the same. I love the folk costumes, but when only one in the couple is wearing it it looks like a costume (as in costume party!) and not as a respectable traditional outfit you are honouring.

Does Sweden have the tradition Norway does with the traditional outfits? In Norway it seems they are working, living outfits, not really costumes, with multiple occasions to wear them. Does Sweden have anything similar? Receipt of a Nina’s on confirmation, for example?
