SD conducted a phone-interview with her. They asked;
- about her summer plans; I have no idea what I'm going to do this summer she said and also stated that she wouldn't want to miss any milestones in the little ones [grandchildren] lives.
She is to attend little Leonore's baptism on June 8 and on June 15 she and her husband Tord are celebrating their 40th wedding-anniversary! She lives close to her sons and they were a great support for her when she was diagnosed with cancer four years ago. After the rigorous treatment she is looking after herself by going on frequent walks with her dog Nero. She is looking well these days!

She left Sweden a long time ago (only visiting on big occasions like the celebrations of her brothers 40 years on the throne) and now she's living a luxury life on Majorca.
From a interview by SD; "It's hard to say where I really belong. I guess it's here on Majorca since I spend the most time here. On the other hand I have all my children and grandchildren in Munich which I also visit a lot. And it's great visiting Sweden and seeing the relatives. I've been to Haga casle a few times since Vic and Dan moved in and it brings back some wonderful childhood memories.
"I love the sun and golfing. I still play golf every day - at least 18 holes!" She is no early bird and likes to relax in the mornings. "What's my handicap? That's my little secret. But it has been remarkable well lately

Birgitta will be back in Sweden and attend Leonore's baptism in June and as usual she will attend the annual charity event "Barngolfen" in Mölndal this fall. It raises money for Queen Silvia's childrens-hospital. Since it's start in 2001, Birgitta has been the patron of the event. "otherwise I haven't made any other plans than enjoying the golf, weather and sun on Majorca.
Princess
Désirée, 75; "
Congratulations, dear husband"
Married: Niclas Silfverschiöld
Children: Carl, 49, Tina, 48, Hélčne, 46

Lives: At
Koberg Castle outside of Trollhättan. Has a summer residence in Majorca.
Likes: Hosting extravagant dinners ("hunting"-themed) . Is an expert at flower arrangement.
She has been living at Koberg Castle with her husband for the past 50 years. In this 40-room castle she hosts elaborate feasts and threats her four grandchildren to some of her famous rhubarb-pie. She is keen on making the most of the garden crops. It also tastes better when it's grown from ones own back yard, she says. In June she and Niclas will be celebrating their gold anniversary - 50 years! There is also the big birthday celebration in at the end of May when Niclas turns 80. Ans she will of course attend Leonore's baptism in June. Otherwise she isn't much for the limelight. She socializes with Birgitta the most out of the sisters. She and her husband acquired a residence in Majorca a few years ago to be close to Birgitta.
Princess
Margaretha, 79; "
I'm turning 80 this fall"
Married: Widow (John Ambler passed away 2008)
Children: Sybilla, 49, Edward, 48, James, 45
Grand-children: Oscar, 10, Lily, 11, India, 11, Sebastian, 14, Sienna, 14, Madeleine, 15
Likes: Dogs. She feels sad that she's too old to get a new dog since the passing of her springer spaniel.
It's going to ba a festive year for Margaretha as well. Not only is she attending Leonore's baptism but she is turning 80 in the fall! No elaborate birthday celebrations though, it will most likely be a small affair with her children and grandchildren. On June 30 it would have been her and her husband John's 50th wedding anniversary. She now lives alone, during their last years they lived separate lives, they didn't divorce. The few official events she attended she was accompanied by her daughter Sybilla. Margarethe is the most reclusive of the sisters. Despite the king trying to persuade her to move back to Sweden - even offering to buy her a home - she refuses to leave England. She lives about two hours from London, outside of Chipping Norton.
