There is a wonderful thread at TRF about Christmas cards, and I thought we could have one here, too.
I'll start with M+F:

2005

2006

Does someone have their Christams card from 2004? I've never seen it.

Fred looks pale and sick in the 2005 card so maybe Mary is putting her face bleaching products on him.
I hope we get to see this year's Xmas card at least then we may get a peak at the elusive Izzy. Secret

2005 and 2006 cards have the wedding pictures as motives, did they order too many thank-you cards, that they could actually use them as Xmas cards two years consec?  Roll Eyes

Christian looks tiny in the 2005 picture, he certainly wasn't a chubby baby and Mary must have loved the 2006 card, she looked very thin.

Wonder why David Linley sold the Christmas cards his Granny sent to him?  Is he that hard up for money?  Oh, wait a minute...I forgot about the Poltimore tiara to-do.  I guess he IS in need of funds...or is just a skinflint!

I wouldn't be so quick to judge him. After all his mother didn't leave him that much cash and most of the things that belong to him now have a certain idealistic value to a lot of people. Taxes in Britain esp. those you pay on inheritances seems awfully high and so i could imagine that the family in order to keep things that have value to them simply sells things that have not.
The Poltimore was a gift to Margaret from her parents for her wedding, however it was bought at that occasion and so it wasn't a family heirloom. The fantastic lotus flower tiara that once belonged to the queen mother and that Vicountess Linley wore on her wedding day stays in the family.
When Picasso died, his family was according to Paloma and other family members taxed merciless. Each and every little scribble for example a little birthday card to a child with a little funny face on it was valued as if it would go on an auction as a real signed and rare Picasso.

The only card out of all of these I really liked was C&C's 2005 card. It's a nice happy family shot.

The Jordanian Royals don't send out Christmas cards, however they do send a card out for the New Year.

I think that was taken at their palace in Aqaba and IMRIC they do have furniture and sofas outside on a sort of terrace. My guess is they moved the sofas for the photo.
