my opinion is that a bright colored pant is something very difficoult to wear, because even if i can understand the willingness to feel free to dare, not everyone everywhere can dare without consequences.
princes's pr people or grey men should be very conscious that we dishers don't let any horror pass under silence  Nono

Apparently prince Joachim of Belgium (or Archduke Joachim of Habsburg- d'Este) wore thight pink trousers to his introduction in the army in 2010.

"..On Tuesday morning Prince Joachim started his military training at the Center for Basic Education and Training in South Arlon. He was accompanied by his mother, Princess Astrid, and Defence Minister Pieter De Crem. On his clothing, the young prince will take some work, his pink pants clashes still with military equipment..."

I love the bright, block coloured jeans on men.     Crazy
Any colour darker than pastel often looks good as long as they are teamed with neutrals or non descript darks - preferably not with colourful tartans etc..

I give Max a pass when he wears orange pants, at least its patriotic!
BTW, have there  been other Kings of the Orange Throne with orange hair besides him?

all things considered, these royal men in bright colored pants are scouts, because they must search high and low to find a shop that actually sells bright colored pants.
it's not that they are everywhere, you must search and search to find a pair of pink trousers, imo.

Including Wax there have only been 4 kings of the Netherlands.
Willem I : based on the pictures available he had brown hair.
Willem II : his hair seems to have been dark blond /brownish (also based on pictures avaible)
Willem III : based on the pictures available he had brown (dark) hair.

After Willem III the Netherlands would be ruled by three queens for ca. 123 years
Wilhelmina : her hair seems to be brownish.
Juliana : her hair seems brownish
Beatrix : her hair (was) brown.

So apparently no kings or queens of the Netherlands with 'orange' hair before.

Before the kings, the family of (Orange-) Nassau ruled the Netherlands as 'stadhouder'. Perhaps some orange hair over there, but we only have drawings of that time.
