Now 2023 has come to a close I thought it might be fun to do a lighthearted review of the year for the royals.

Some awards may have gone to others but to save Maria we are not including off topic people.

Most underrated royal of the year
Prince Joachim of Denmark

Best tiara moment of year
Princess of Wales using the not seen in decades
Strathmore Rose tiara

Hardest worker of the year
Princess Anne

Most heart warming moment of the year
Guillaume and Stephanie’s winter pictures of their adorable children

Biggest “look at me” moment of the year
Anything with Max and her daughters

Biggest surprise of the year
Daisy abdicating - in the last few hours of the year

Worst fashion of the year
Maria Teresa of Luxembourg

Biggest scandal of the year
Freddie’s Mexican delight in Madrid

Best multiple royals moment of the year
Coronation of King Charles

I think the biggest scandal was Scoobie Doo's book.  I'm really glad it sank as fast as it did, but wow.  It sure generated headlines.

Related:  I think a pretty big "Looker Me" could be applied to anything the Gruesome Twosome in Montecito did, and I was underwhelmed by the British Coronation.  Otherwise, like your choices for these prestigious awards!

Ralf is not including any OT people so her list makes perfect sense.

Sorry, so I'll just stick with the underwhelming coronation.

Defo staying away from off topic otherwise we’d have a whole host of different awards

An honorable mention for most heartwarming moment was the birth and baptism of Prince Gustav Albrecht of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleberg.
