The funny thing is, I don't think they are . On their comments they remark how Kate's choices are antiquated, ill fitting and age her. The only outfit in which they think Kate did better was the one of George's christening as opposed to Letizia's during Leonor's.

I think Leti and Queen Rania of Jordan look more like sisters.

Huffington Post used to report on Letizia frequently. They stopped when she started wearing pant suits almost daily. Now they're back, saying they've followed her for 10 years: Spain's New Queen Could Be Your Next Fashion Iconhttp://www.huffingtonpost...le-fashion_n_5456785.htmlPrincess Letizia of Spain may skip the typical princess gear, but that hasn't cramped her style!
Perhaps that's because she is much more than a fashion plate; Letizia enjoyed a successful career as a television journalist before marrying into the royal family (her husband is Crown Prince Felipe).
As a result, her wardrobe usually reflects a no-nonsense approach to modern monarchy along with the harsh economic reality in Spain: she leaves high-end fashion to her peers, instead favoring pantsuits and separates from mid-priced Spanish labels like Mango and Zara.
But Letizia, who is expected to become Spain's new queen in June following the official abdication of her father-in-law, is one of the most fascinating royals to watch when the occasion exceeds office wear. Thanks in part to her refusal to dress like a cake topper in pearls, you just never know what you might get.
One thing we can predict, after watching her dress for a decade, is that when it's time for black tie, Letizia never disappoints. Below are some of her most stylish moments. Mary had better stayed out of internet right now. She may not like reading this description of Letizia's appearance at her wedding : Boom! A week before she wed Crown Prince Felipe, Letizia made jaws drop in her first international royal appearance: the 2004 wedding of Denmark's Crown Prince Frederick and Australian Mary Donaldson in Copenhagen. A stunning Letizia inadvertently upstaged even the bride when she arrived in resplendent red Lorenzo Caprile, looking like Spain itself. With smooth waves, a tasseled bag, and jewelry on loan from her mother-in-law, no one else stood a chance.

Well, with Boganson's milkmaid-wears-a-backboard dress, one would have to be dressed in a potato sack (without removing the potatoes) to not upstage her...

Spain’s Machiavellian Future Queen? "Since joining Spain’s Royal Family, the Princess of Asturias’ general popularity with the Spanish people has grown in stark contrast to her lack of popular support within the Royal Court. Aside from taking an instant disliking to her because of her background, she’s been accused of being an overly ambitious, nouveau riche, and desperately insecure upstart determined to prove that she’s smarter, better educated, more elegant, more glamorous, and more politically astute than virtually anyone else in the the House of Bourbon. Like the late Diana, Princess of Wales before her, she’s also been accused by her detractors of being an emotionally unstable anorexic. In all fairness, Her Royal Highness has given cause through her behavior to justify such rancor toward her. She’s notorious for demanding that her husband arrive to official engagements before her, as if to give the impression that she’s the most important VIP attending the event. There’s also the incident of Felipe and Letizia’s most recent television interview in which Felipe was interrupted by his better half and informed that she was capable of answering her own questions when he attempted to answer a question that was apparently directed toward his wife. Through it all, the Prince of Asturias has remained slavishly in love and devoted to his wife."
Why I'm not surprised ? She looks bossy and ambitious. I rember how agressive and authoritative she was with a girl (not her daughter) who refused to say sorry to another one. Leti was were agressive and insisted for hours, nobody could stop her and she was out of controll because a little girl refused to obey her ! She's very bossy and stuborn and ambitious. And anorexic, she weights less than 40 kg, or 42 maxi. She has only skin and very little muscles on her skeletton. Many anorexic women are hysterical, and I suspect Leti to be a difficult person. just my opinon, but I don't feel she's a nice and caring person.

It's from a blog called royalfoibles. He seem to be pulling most of it from an unauthorized biography of the Inaki business. I've never seen a case where Felipe is already at an official event and Letizia arrives later (not saying it doesn't happen, just that I've never seen it). The Vanity Fair article 'King and Controversy' last year also mentioned that it happens, though didn't specify at what sort of events, but said it was because Letizia is "trying to prove that she is a person in her own right," which I found understandable considering she was her own person in her former life and then had to become a mute, powerless figure next to her husband's family most of the time. (I would also be fighting for small measures of independence, I'm sure.) It wasn't suggested it was because Letizia demands to be THE BIGGEST SUPERSTAR. He mostly lays into her for allegedly leaking the Inaki stuff. I'm sure there's all sorts of things we'll never know about members of the SRF and like anyone else she has her faults. But IMO, if she did leak it, kudos to her. It's better than standing by and watching someone steal millions from the people. And the accusation also assumes that the government didn't notice it was giving Noos huge sums of money and nothing was happening, which I find a bit hard to swallow.

Letizia has never arrived after Felipe at an official event, what a silly accusation (as baseless as the others of course, what was "the last interview" they gave? They've never given a interview.)

My goodness, that post is hilarious! So apparently JC's fall in popularity is Letizia's fault. Good to finally know the name of the elephant. And of course, Iñaki & Cristinita's dirty dealings were not the problem. The problem was that they got caught!! I love that logic. ...And I am the only one who really wants to know who counted the 1500 JC-ladyfriends? Did they have to fill a form before entering the royal chambers or something? Maybe they had to sign a receipt? Did they have an accountant exclusively for that? Was it Letizia who leaked that too? That darned elephant... I don't personally know Leti, so I cannot say if she is Machiavellian or evil or an angel or a regular woman without any special powers when you take her spanx away. But I can tell you something: that post is pure fanfiction.
