This will be a second State Visit to Poland by Dutch Monarch. First took place in July 1997, when Queen Beatrix, accompanied by Prince Claus, visited three Polish cities:

Warsaw
Official welcome at the Presidential Palace

Ceremony of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Meeting with the veterans of the 1st Polish Armoured Division

From the small pix the pink dress looks both nice and smart: it stands out very nicely.... Wink

I know, right? Is the sun in Poland that strong and damaging, or is she guarding against the birds? Those pesky Polish pidgeons must be just waiting to aim and fire!
Honestly, the hat is ridiculous and spoils an otherwise perfect outfit. Roll Eyes

That hat is ridiculous and makes her look obnoxious.

The dress in itself is lovely, but she didn't need the hat and all that diamond jewellery is better for after 8pm.  She is going a tad overboard  Blink

I like her dress, she have a nice figure, the earrings are beautiful but kind of big for the occasion and the umbrella hat is ridiculous  Dead

Is it so hot in Poland that Max needs to cover her head with a beach umbrella to avoid getting fried?
