You took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking of those antennae on the head of a prawn or a cockroach. And that dress is too short for her frame. A-line dresses above the knee really only suit someone young and girlish or someone more mature who has a very gamine Audrey Hepburn style physique, neither of which applies to Maxima.

@ Ugly Betty: Letizia has the frame for that dress, but she doesn't have the cutie pie girlishness, she looks better in outfits that emphasize her feminine beauty and professionalism.

And yes, the hat should go down in history as the Prawn whiskers. (roach antennas would be equally fitting)

I agree.  I was thinking in terms of the right physique for that style of dress.  I couldn't see Letizia choosing that dress for herself.
