Except for the grown up Peter Pans, they should all consider sticking with the beards. It makes someone like Haakon and Felipe look SEXY and it destracts the attention at least somewhat from all the Fug that the Windsor clan possesses.

Best beard in show: prince Michael of Kent
worst: Fred
p.s.: maybe I'm the only one, but I think the beard helps Gui concealing a bit  his skin problems.

I think that's why he has it, to be honest. To conceal. Just like with his other beard.  Wink

Recently I have visited Huis Doorn, the last address of Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany (his body is still there). You will see several family pictures over there. Plenty of men with a beard or moustache Wink

Tsar Nicholas II of Russia & King George V of the United Kingdom:

Prince Heinrich of Prussia/Germany (younger brother of Wilhelm II)

Crown Prince Friedrich of Prussia,later Friedrich III,German Emperor and King of Prussia (father of Wilhelm II)

Prince Albert Edward, prince of Wales. Later King Edward VII and Emperor of India

Prinz Ludwig of Hesse (husband of princess Alice, second daughter of Victoria)

Prince Alfred later Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Duke of Edinburgh;

Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein (husband of princess Helena)

The Prince Arthur,Duke of Connaught and Strathearn

Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany

Prince Heinrich of Battenberg (husband of princess Beatrice)

You can really see the family resemblance between Tsar Nicholas and his cousin the future King George V of GB. Their mothers were sisters, Danish princesses and were very close.

Indeed their was a great resemblance between the cousins. You can tell them apart when looking at the eyes. At Huis Doorn there were pictures with both of them together and seperate. I used to look at the eyes, to figure out who is who before looking at the (written) signs if they were there.

King George V eyes were light, bright and a bit more popping out in comparison to the eyes of Tsar Nicholas II.
