Australian tabloid: Queen Mary Now.

Princess Mary will soon be queen of Denmark. At least if you believe an Australian tabloid.

When traveling Queen Margrethe II from the throne, leaving the title of king and queen of Denmark to her son and daughter in law, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary?

The answer to this question believes the Australian tabloid Women's Day to know.

On Monday morning, analysts predict that Queen Margrethe, who is 74 years old within the next few weeks will pass the baton to the royal couple, thus allowing Crown Princess Mary take over the title of queen.

- It's official! Australia's favorite royal Princess Mary is expected to be crowned queen of Denmark and it can happen any day now, writes gossip magazine, which has 'heard' that the transfer of the throne that is going to take place within the next few weeks.

Queen Margrethe suffer from arthritis disease spinal stenosis, which she previously received medical treatment and among other things, forced her to sit down during New Year cure the last few years. And according to the Australian tabloid should not she be getting ready to resign because of her 'poor health'.

Fortunately, the Australian/Danish crown princess, however, ready to carry the title of Her Majesty Queen Mary of Denmark, writes gossip magazine:

- It is said that Mary will easily fall into the role of queen of Denmark, as she has learned from the best, for her mother-in-law.

What a shame that the Aussie media doesn't know La Marge.  She's not going anywhere-unless it's in that hideous casket.  She might be ill or unable to do many things, but she's clinging to that title until her last breath.  I don't know how many times Marge's people have to state it-the old bag is queen for life and she's not stepping down.  Ever.

The propaganda is so obvious I'm beginning to think Fred is behind it.  Thinking Secret

Reverse psychology?

Daisy hinted she feels tired and Fred got the shivers: No way will I face this #&% before I absolutely have to! Starting a Queen Mary campaign will stir Mor's stubborness. And as a bonus, it will make my wife look bad.  Supercontent

On second thought, that might be overly optimistic with regards to his intelligence...

I doubt that Frodo is sober enough time to remember where Australia is. He probably doesn't even remember is own wifie's name, calling her Emilie or his all time favourite, Katja...

The few people that state their dislike of Yrma on the BT.dk facebook site relating to the article get chewed up.

And as it is, I had to comment as well    https://www.facebook.com/...itbt?hc_location=timeline (scroll down to the article)

If we add the frequent diabetes-inducing articles from Her og Nu about Mary being the bestest of best (this week she's the obvious idol and role-model of Marie's Roll Eyes ) I actually think it's the obvious work of Mary, who much be feeling terrible about being NOT QUEEN MARY while quite a few of her former colleagues now have that titel Banana Banana Banana

ETA: unless he's very medicated I cannot see Fred actually wish to be king now. Thinking

I wish Daisy would declare her to be officially called Queen Consort in fairness to Henri, her love (which she technically is anyway).

That would take the sail out of her sugarflag ship

From my understanding the Danes have any huge parties when there is a change of monarch? Isn't it just a simple ceremony? Well, we all know who would want to change that.

Well, that was fast  Spiteful

Princess Mary is NOT about to be crowned Queen of Denmark: Royal family hit back at 'nonsense' claim that Queen Margrethe is about to abdicate

Rumours stating that Australia's Princess Mary is to be crowned the Queen of Denmark as the current Queen nears abdication have been slammed by the royal family.

Woman's Day claimed that the coronation of Mary and her husband, Prince Fredrick, could be announced in 'just weeks', in their latest publication on Monday.

The magazine said the reason Queen Margrethe was stepping down was due to her 'bad back' which has prevented her from attending many royal functions recently.

Danish publication ended the rumours however, with a comment from a Royal House spokesperson who described them as 'nonsense'.

'Australia's favourite royal export Princess Mary is expected to be crowned Queen of Denmark. And it could happen any day now,' Woman's Day wrote. Her Royal Highness is waiting to take over the title as the current reigning monarch Queen Margrethe, 74, prepares to pass on the baton to her graceful daughter-in-law due to ill health.…plans are well and truly underway to fast-track our beloved Mary and her husband Crown Prince Frederik's coronation.'

However the Royal Family has denied the rumours, calling them 'nonsense' according to a Danish publication,Metroxpress.

A Royal House spokesperson told the publication: 'there is nothing to that story'.

'It is nonsense and Her Majesty the Queen is doing just fine.'

Woman's Day even stated that Mary was 'thrilled' about taking on the role.

Had the rumours proven true, it would have been a proud day for Australians when the Tasmanian born princess was crowned. The love story of Mary and Prince Fredrick, who met in a Tasmanian bar during the 2000 Olympic Games, won the hearts of Aussies and Europeans everywhere when they finally married in 2004.

The royal couple have since had four children together, Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine.
