Hey!
I haven't read all the comments so my apologies if I repeat anything that's been said before.
First of all, I had no idea about the wedding, I saw an article last week, then I totally forgot until I saw pics from the pre-wedding party.
Allessandra de Osma was the best dressed but a little bit too much the immediate family didn't go for such heavy gowns.
It's always nice to see Anne-Marie! I'm a fan of Alexia so great to see her as well. She was nicely dressed but she has always that warm smile and glow so even she was badly dress I wouldn't even notice!
I loved MO's dresses for both occasions, pre-wedding party and actual ceremony, simple, lovely and totally age appropriate! So this is a big deal, IMO, when it comes to her.
Her mother, on the other hand, well... her pre-wedding dress was somethign I would never evev choose to wear!
Her other gown though was great!
Tatiana is always effortlessly elegant! I didn't like her sea-tones dress but it suited her, however I totally loved her other gown!
Bene was greatly dressed as always!
Nice to see the York girls there!
I like Eug's dress but not for the occasion.
I saw a yellow dress, I think from the Miller family, I really liked it!
As for the bride... she's glowing from happiness, Philippos too so I wish them to be like this for the rest of their lives!
Full of love and happiness!!!! To have each other and to grow their family they way they want!
As to what happened in Greece, regarding the wedding...
I have no idea if special protection mesures were taken around the church.
The wedding was not cover at all by the greek media, except some referrences to what wore who and mentioning the York Girls attended in Hello magazine and another gossip website.
I read there were huge flat screens in two central parts in Athens and I also read many negative comments as to why this was necessary, if we're back to monarchy or if we're forced to support them...
IMO, partly they want to be seen as royals, you know real royals, but from the other hand, they didn't force anyone to watch and they do draw attention to the country so the complaints about the wedding (a wedding that didn't cost a thing to us as greek citizens) was out of place.
