The company Coolook talked about Letizia wearing it's earrings. It's a small Mallorcan company. They said by far the most impact client has to be Queen Letizia.

The mystery of the earrings of Doņa Letizia

Doņa Letizia does not wear jewels to pass or inherited from her mother-in-law: since last January she often carries important diamond earrings and rubies whose origin is unknown. Because something has changed in recent times. The Queen began at the end of last year to wear more important jewelry and less costume jewelery. The greatest exposition of this new custom came last February, when the wife of Felipe VI wore for the first time the tiara of Lis and the two diamond bracelets that belonged to Queen Victoria Eugenia and that are part of the known as jewels To pass. That purpose for renewing its complements was seen during the gala dinner offered by the emperors of Japan to the Kings in the beginning of April, When Letizia used for the first time diamond and sapphire earrings of Doņa Sofía. However, the pair of diamonds and rubies are a new acquisition in their jeweler.

La Reina premiered the pair of earrings during dinner for the 30th anniversary of the economic newspaper Expansion , which took place on February 7. The Queen gave total prominence to the jewels with a sober look in black tones. In addition, he collected his hair in a bun, so his new jewel stood out. "The earrings have been in the queen's jeweler for a long time and are their property," sources at Casa Real revealed to this supplement. The aforementioned sources did not want to confirm where these jewels came from and for how long they have been kept in the Queen's private jeweler, although judging from her words, some member of the Royal Family would have paid to buy the jewels. " If it had been a gift

According to the tradition of the Al Saud monarchy, when a counterpart from another country visits Saudi Arabia, he is indulged in all kinds of luxuries that recall the richness and ostentation of the Gulf country. Therefore, the consorts of the European courts usually receive sets of jewels of the Saudi kings . Doņa Sofía has a set consisting of earrings and a bracelet of diamonds and rubies. An important jewel he wore in 2006 during a visit to Thailand and later in 2007, during the visit of King Abdullah bin Abdelaziz to Spain. The whole would have been a gift from the monarch. Also the Duchess of Cornwall and wife of Charles of England, Camilla, has an important necklace of diamonds and rubies gift of the Al Saud monarchy. Don Felipe visited the Gulf country last January. Only three weeks later, Doņa Letizia debuted the earrings, which are made with the two favorite stones of the Saudis: diamonds and rubies. Despite this coincidence, from Casa Real they insist that it is not a gift made to Don Felipe during the trip.

Another possibility is that the King will give them to the Queen for some important date. The first present of this type arrived at his request, when Don Felipe presented Doņa Letizia with an engagement ring purchased from Suárez jewelry made up of baguette- size diamonds . The Queen has not worn it for years, perhaps because the ring was bought by Iņaki Urdangarin and, according to Diego Torres, was paid with the Nóos card . For his fifth wedding anniversary, Don Felipe presented his wife with another jewel, this time from Ansorena . The jewelry made a tiara for Doņa Letizia formed by 450 diamonds and 10 Australian beads that the Queen estenó in 2015. In 2005,

All these examples are enough to think that perhaps these earrings are another gift from the King. Maybe it was given in 2014, a key year for marriage. In May they were married for a decade and on June 19 they celebrated the proclamation of Don Felipe, who turned Doņa Letizia into Reina consorte. In any case, on the two occasions that Doņa Letizia has put on the earrings "that have been in her jeweler's shop" - as Casa Real sources said - the Queen has hung a Chandeliers arranged in cascade with 216 diamonds of different sizes And 12 rubies size knob.

The earrings not only stood out in the anniversary of Expansion. Dona Letizia also chose them for the celebration of the 50th birthday of King William of the Netherlands . Celebrated last weekend, the Queen enhanced her look, with that unique complement. Dona Letizia wore a dress of Stella McCartney with cloak, shoes of the same red tone and the mentioned earrings.

The Other Chronicle has been in contact with the main suppliers of real jewels, who have denied its authorship. They are not from Ansorena , which has a great relationship with the Royal House. Neither has designed Cartier , nor Suarez , nor Tiffany 's. The auction house Sotheby's , in accordance with its privacy policy, could not verify if they have left any auction, although they do not appear in any of its catalogs. Finally, the jewel does not appear in any catalog of Christie's either.
